Hello, and welcome to my practice! I am a general dentist who loves dentistry and is excited about the technological advances made in the last few years. Some of the items that make your visit to us more comfortable are digital x-rays, CEREC one visit, in office crowns and inlays, and electric handpieces (they are quieter).
My training began at Brevard County Junior College in Florida, then on to Michigan State for a BS in Biochemistry and finally to the University of Michigan Dental School, graduating in 1980. I am currently a member in good standing in the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Tidewater Dental Association, and the Virginia Beach Dental Study Club. I also volunteer regularly at the Chesapeake Care Clinic and the Red Cross Dental Clinic.
I have a special interest in what it takes to achieve optimal health and longevity, including nutrition, supplements, body movement and brain health. My hobbies include reading, walking, gardening and growing fruit trees. My hobbies include reading, walking, gardening, and growing fruit trees. I am proud to work with a very talented team of professionals who are as dedicated as I am to delivering the best dental care possible in an environment that is encouraging and supportive. I look forward to meeting you.

Our Mission
Our desire is to aid our patients in their journey to optimal health. To help you make informed choices that will make a positive difference in your health. We are either moving toward health or toward disease, and any number of small choices along the way will change the direction we are going. During your visits with us, we will discuss any medications you are taking, including over the counter supplements. We may ask if you would like more information on how to improve your overall health and longevity. We have many resources for those patients who desire more information such as newsletters, books, and websites. Our main focus of course is your optimum oral health. We have many “dental accessories” at our disposal to help you achieve and maintain that goal.
Current research has shown clear connections between oral health and systemic diseases. The most compelling is how periodontal disease affects cardiac health, diabetes and circulatory health. I am diligent about staying abreast of the latest research in both dentistry and overall health. We look forward to helping you in your quest for good health.
