Your First Visit   Your first visit with us will be with our hygienist, unless you have an emergency situation. During this 80 minute visit we will document the current condition of your mouth with photos, charting, x-rays. We want to get a clear picture of what your mouth looks like now and what you desire for your mouth in the future. Dr. Richmond and our hygienist will complete a thorough exam, including an oral cancer check. Payments and Fees

We make every effort to keep the cost of dental care reasonable. Payment for any treatment provided is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Visa, Master Card, Discover and our financial partner-Care Credit. If your treatment requires several visits, you will be given an estimate for each visit so that you can plan accordingly. If you have any questions about fees or payments, please speak to a member of our business staff.

Insurance

Dr. Richmond is a participating provider with two plans, Delta Dental (Premier) and United Concordia. Most plans have two options for receiving dental treatment. You can go to a dentist who is a participating provider or you can go out of the network. If you go out of the network there may be an additional co-payment for some services. The easiest way to find out your options is to call the 800 number on your card and ask if you have to stay within the network or can you see the dentist of your choice.

Please be advised that your insurance coverage is a contract between your employer and the insurance carrier. Some services are not covered by all insurance carriers. Any services or fees not covered by your plan are your responsibility.            Major and Military Dental Plans Accepted
