Hi, my name is Kim and I am the practice administrator for Dr. Richmond. A mid-western girl, I was born in Minnesota and grew up in Colorado and Wyoming. I moved to Virginia in 1981. I love reading, enjoy walking, gardening, and spending time with my husband and animals (no kids). I am also a certified life coach. Dr. Richmond and I have worked together since 1981. I began as a chair side assistant and then moved to the administrative end of the business. Dentistry has certainly changed since 1981 and it doesn't have to be a dreaded experience. My intention is for you to have the most comfortable, informed, thorough, pleasant dental experience possible. I invite you to join our practice. I promise to support and encourage you as you make informed choices for your dental health. |
| Hi, my name is Val. I would like to warmly welcome you to the office, to assist you with scheduling your appointments, understanding your treatment possibilities, your insurance benefits and/or limitations, and your payment options. I shall make every effort to work with your busy schedule whenever possible as scarcity of time seems to be a common dilemma for most of us. Whether you are interested in maintaining your dental health, or enhancing your smile using the latest in cosmetic or tooth whitening procedures, I'll work to ensure your experience with us is a positive one, and you will be glad you chose us to serve your dental needs. As dependents of Air Force officers, my husband of forty years, and I, developed a lifelong passion for travel. My other interests include art, decorating, and water activities with family and friends. |

Hello, my name is Amanda and I am a native Virginian. I have been part of Dr. Richmond's team since 2003. I am one of his chair side assistants. Educating our patients is one of the most rewarding parts of my position. The highlight of my day is interacting with children. I LOVE children! I enjoy all of our patients and look forward to meeting new faces everyday. My hobbies are listening to music and playing with my animals. |

Hi, I'm Paula, one of Dr. Richmond's chair side assistants. I was born and raised in Norfolk, so I am a native gal. I am married and have two children. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my extended family and playing with my two beloved dogs. I love everything about dentistry; the people, the procedures, my co-workers, everything. I invite you to come in and see what makes us different from other dental practices. |
| I'm Amanda, one of Dr. Richmond's hygienists. I grew up as an Air Force brat, moving every two years, so no one place is home. I am now married to a Navy man, so I still don't know what it means to put down roots! I have three children so after spending time with my children, in what little spare time shows up, I enjoy cooking and exercising. What I like best about dentistry is the relationships that are formed over time and the feeling that I can make a difference, one person at a time. |

Hi, I'm Alissa, one of Dr. Richmond’s hygienists. I have lived in Virginia Beach most of my life. I attended Old Dominion University and graduated in 2001. I am married to a structural engineer and I have one son, Mason, born in November of 2009. We enjoy traveling to the Caribbean and playing softball. I enjoy working with patients as a hygienist, because I know that I can make a difference in someone's smile. |
